Kyocera unveiled two new mobile phones called the Kyocera X-tc and Kyocera JAX. Both the phones will be available via Virgin Mobile and will offer a wide range of features and applications.
The Kyocera X-tc is a slider messaging phone that equips a full keyboard. It features a QVGA display screen with 262K colors and a 1.3 megapixel camera. It integrates a media player and dedicated music keys that will allow users to easily access music.
The web enabled phone lets users to send instant messages via AIM and Yahoo Messenger. Besides this, users can stay connected with their friends and family via Facebook. Users can upload photos and notes as well as update their status and browse profiles. The phone also integrates various exciting sports and racing games. The battery life of the phone offers a standby time of upto 200 hours and a talktime of upto 250 minutes.
The Kyocera JAX phone sports a color display screen with 128 x 160 pixels. The Real Music Ringtone feature will allow users to select a ringtone from a wide range. It also offers exclusive MTV content and is pre-loaded with demo games like Bikini Beach Party, Lumines Mobile and New York Nights. The Kyocera JAX phone provides a talktime of upto 200 minutes and a standby time of upto 8.3 days.
The Kyocera will be available via Virgin Mobile for $99. There is no information about the availability and price of the Kyocera JAX phone as yet.
