The recent announcement from CBS Sports and the NCAA will surely excite sports enthusiasts especially those who love basketball. Recently, the two companies have launched a NCAA March Madness on Demand application for the iPhone.

Users can stream live videos and audio from the 2009 NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Championship. The application utilizes MobiTV’s streaming technology that will provide live videos to users over a Wi-Fi connection. The application will provide videos of all 63 games including the first round of tournament till the finals.

The NCAA March Madness on Demand application will allow users to access tournament brackets that gets updated with up-to the minute scores in real time. In addition to this, the application offers CBSSports.com Edge matchup game previews, team breakdowns and matchup comparisons as well.

The application lets users to access in-game box scores and player stats during live game action as an overlay on top of the video. Users also get a chance to view full tournament scoreboards, game recaps and video highlights of every tournament.

With the new application, users will not have to miss out any interesting match when they are out. It will allow users to enjoy watching live videos even while on the go.
