Sprint joins hands with CBRE for 4G retail store inspection mobile app

Motorola Quench Numerous companies often face difficulties when inspecting their humongous sites or facilities for accessing their overall performance. To provide an innovative solution, CB Richard Ellis Group recently partnered with Sprint to unveil their new 4G-based retail mobile app to boost the efficiency of Sprint’s previously time-consuming and expensive property inspections.

The service provider annually inspects over 750 facilities, while each inspection takes about approximately 5 hours to complete. This makes it a total of whopping 3,750 hours per year for Sprint. With the new Android-based CB Richard Ellis mobile application on Sprint’s 4G network supervisors can effortlessly complete every inspection in nearly 2 and 1/2 hours, almost doubling their efficiency.

“We’ve partnered with CBRE for years, and consistently they’ve summoned the right solution for our business when we needed it,” expressed Brian Jordan, Director of Sprint Real Estate. “This latest retail app is another example. Their efforts and ingenuity on our behalf have always been key to Sprint’s achievements over the past couple years in improving customer experience, improving brand perception and increasing our profitability.”

This latest software enables consumers to fill out the entire site assessment questionnaires as well as click images or videos on demand. These documents can be made instantly and easily accessible for reviewing by the client’s real estate department through Sprint’s 4G network.

“The combination of Sprint’s 4G network speed and the wonderful quality of the HTC Evo has combined to make our retail store inspection app a great success,” commented Tim Dismond, Alliance Director at CBRE. “The quality of the video and the 8 megapixel camera has allowed our technicians to capture pictures and video of store facilities much more quickly than with a checklist and a regular camera. Capturing the condition of our facilities is a much more efficient and effective service that we are now able to provide to our client.”

The mobile app provides organizations with thousands of facilities requiring multiple inspections each year with improved cost cutting and significant time savings due to amplified efficiency. It also effectively discards any inaccuracy or error occurred during inspection process and permits the customers to make more competent use of field agents to inspect retail stores.

The official availability and pricing details regarding this 4G-based retail store inspection mobile app are yet to be revealed.
