Sony Xperia M featuring NFC strides into online portals in India

After what seems like eternity, the Sony Xperia M has hit availability status with an e-retailer in India, while a couple of other online outlets have begun taking registrations for the same. The news emerged through a tweet made by Saholic which appears to be the only one at present selling the device.

Sadly, the only color available through the e-commerce website is black, in spite of the phone brandishing additional hues of white, yellow and purple globally. Saholic has stated that the 4-inch smartphone can also be purchased on an EMI basis, demanding Rs 833 monthly.

Flipkart has put the Sony Xperia M up for pre-order, as the e-retailer touts a ‘Freedom Offer’ which is a lucky draw and the least that buyers could expect from this scheme is Rs 300 cash back. The online portal also plans to sell the handset together with EMI plans.

But what comes across as strange is that this installment offer is valid only till August 16, while the first stock is expected to hit the e-retailer’s doorstep in the fourth week of this month. As against the aforementioned store, Flipkart is accepting bookings for the black, white, yellow and purple variants.

The Xperia M will be striking Infibeam’s website and its price at all the outlets sums up to Rs 12,990. August 18 is the day that interested folks should go looking for the handset on the online shopping store.
