The Simmtronics XPad Mini is the latest addition made to the company’s tablet series comprising of the 10-inch X1010, the 7-inch X720 and more. Up for grabs at Rs 9,999, the device has been made available through no other online outlet, but Snapdeal. The tablet comes with a peculiar display size measuring 7.85 inches. It is across the surface of this IPS touch panel that users should be able to view visuals at an 800 x 480 pixel resolution.

The aspect that could give the Simmtronics XPad Mini an upper hand when dealing with competition is the inbuilt quad core processor which runs at a clock speed of 1GHz. Even the cameras found on the device are pretty much noteworthy by tablet standards. A 5MP shooter slithers onto the rear panel, while a 2MP webcam shares space with the screen.

There’s 8GB worth of internal memory, the shortfall of which can be compensated by inserting a microSD card into the built-in expansion port. The e-retailer has pointed out that the gadget draws power from a 4,000mAh battery, but it hasn’t spilled out the operation time which users could expect to derive.

If the price of the Simmtronics XPad seems too high to be paid all at once, the slab can also be purchased on an EMI basis starting at Rs 1,666 for six months.
