It has been said earlier that the Sony PlayStation 4 will be gracing us with its presence this holiday season and now, the exact release date has finally been set. Sony declared at the Gamescom 2013 conference that the device will be arriving in the US on November 15 and in Europe on the 29th of the same month.

In all, there seem be 32 countries on the company’s list with regions such as Austria, France, Germany, Spain and the UK from Europe alone. The Japan-based company has stated that Latin Americans can also anticipate the gaming console’s arrival on November 29.

The PlayStation 4 is driven by a single chip custom octa core processor based on the x86-64 AMD Jaguar architecture. In terms of memory, a 500GB HDD will find its way into the console, while there also exists 8GB of GDDR5 RAM.

Coming to DualShock 4 which tags along with the PS4, it measures 162mm x 52mm x 98mm in dimensions and tips the scales at 210 grams. Situated on top of the wireless controller is a two-point TouchPad, while the gadget also features integrated mono speakers and a share button.

We knew that the PlayStation 4 will be up for grabs at a price of $399 in the US, but it will also be made available at £349 in the UK and €399 in other European regions. Look forward to the device popping up drenched in a hue of Jet Black through online shopping outlets such as Amazon and Best Buy.
