MacBook Pro with Haswell processors to hit stores in September

An all new version of the Apple MacBook Pro complete with the Haswell processor is most likely to hit markets sometime next month. Rumor has it that the laptop will be unveiled at the iPhone event which is supposedly scheduled for September 10.

Haswell, the fourth and latest generation Intel core processor, has already been integrated in the refreshed version of the MacBook Air which was released at WWDC 2013. As for the reports about the Pro variant’s imminent arrival, they have surfaced via EMSOne, a supply chain monitor in Hong Kong, says Apple Insider. According to the source of the news, the device has already hit mass production.

And that’s not all, Taiwanese manufacturers have even sent the components of the notebook to assembly plants which means its release date is not so far off. None of the other details about this laptop are out, but we do know that the Haswell CPU is slated to be accompanied by the Intel Iris Pro 5200 GPU. So improved graphics performance can be expected.

Being the successor of Ivy Bridge, the fourth generation Intel core processors are definitely a step ahead of the former. This architecture not only enhances the internal operation of a gadget, but even tries to cough up a longer battery life by consuming less energy. It certainly helped increasing the power life of the refreshed MacBook Air laptops.

Whether this piece of information is true or not, remains to be seen. But if we were to believe it, the Haswell-powered MacBook Pro is arriving on September 10 along with iPhone 5S and 5C.
