Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 The specifications of the Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 had been revealed early in June after which many more images of the phone emerged. Now, according to Slashgear, there is a six minute long video of the Xperia X2 smartphone doing the rounds.

The video demonstrates the new Microsoft platform as well as Sony Ericsson’s own “Panels” UI. In the video, the smartphone was called by its internal codename, Vulcan.

This phone is most likely to be a development model and apparently does not possess the changes Sony Ericsson is going to make to the production device. In the video, the phone is shown only in the portrait mode, whereas the smartphone also works in the landscape mode with a pull-out QWERTY keyboard.

The following are the rumored specifications of the Xperia X2. It arrives with an 8.1 MP camera with autofocus for clicking crisp images. It possesses a VGA video recording at 30fps and sports a 3.5-inch WVGA OLED touchscreen display and GPS and aGPS. It is equipped with a 3.5 mm headphone jack, accelerometer, faster processor and 512 RAM. The Xperia X2 is powered by Windows Mobile 6.5.

Additionally, there are Xperia panels with innovative features. The Xperia panels allow upgrading to Windows Mobile 7.
