Sony Ericsson Xperia arc S Smartphone Sony’s press conference along with IFA in Berlin saw the unveiling of the Sony Ericsson Xperia arc S smartphone. Armed With a powerful 1.4Ghz processor and the latest Android Gingerbread 2.3, the device promises to bring swift entertainment and web-browsing at users’ fingertips. Add to this the Sony Xperia arc’s sleek design and one gets the lethal combination of speed and style dipped in shades like pure white and gloss black.

An 8.1MP camera complete with Sony’s best 3D and 2D sweep panorama photography has been incorporated in the device. One can also connect the phone to a 3D TV, using the HDMI output, to view images on a large screen. Thanks to the Exmor R in the phone that one can view the images and videos even in low light conditions. Complete with a multi-touch 4.2” Reality Display with Mobile Bravia Engine and HD video capability, Sony Ericsson Xperia arc S smartphone supports Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.

The device offers unlimited entertainment with ‘Music Unlimited’ and Bluetooth stereo (A2DP), PlayNow service, TrackID music recognition and more. Moreover, users can access the Android Market wherein one can choose from around 250,000 different applications. Thus, it ensures that users receive the best of both worlds.

The Sony Ericsson Xperia arc S smartphone is expected to be available globally in select markets from Q4 2011.
