Genius has exclusively released its HS-905 BT Bluetooth device with earphones in the United States and Canada. The company describes it to be not just a Bluetooth receiver but a transceiver for mobile devices as well. We had also recently reported about the refreshing change in this category, the Nokia BH-112.
The device is apparently compatible with all Bluetooth enabled mobile phones. The keys on the device are specialized for functions like volume control, power and pairing, call receiving or ending, and for previous or next track.
The headset, which comes with a USB charging cable, offers a standby time of up to 165 hours or a playback time of about 6 hours. The 95mAh lithium ion battery has to be charged for a maximum time of two hours. Other than the charging cable, it comes with a 60cm extension cable, a multi-lingual quick guide and a carrying pouch.
The connection range for this Bluetooth device is up to 10m. It uses Bluetooth 2.1 version + EDR along with A2DP and its 3.5mm connector is gold plated. It is designed as a clip-on device which makes it easy to use while on-the-go by attaching it to clothes or as desired. Apart from mobile phones, the HS-905 BT is also compatible with output devices like home-theater speakers, PCs, notebooks, iPads, music players, etc.
The Genius HS-905 BT Bluetooth device with earphones is available in the United States and Canada through CompuExpert. The pricing hasn’t been revealed by the company yet.
