Sony Ericsson releases W995 Walkman Phone with new Media Go application

Sony Ericsson W995 Walkman Phone Sony Ericsson unveils the W995 Walkman Phone which comes packed with fun media features. It is available in attractive shades of black, silver and red.

With the W995, Sony Ericsson has introduced the new Media Go, a feature which allows you to take your favorite videos, images, tracks and podcasts wherever you go. Users can easily keep in touch with the latest music through the automatic sync. The SensMe tool helps you to organize your music based on your mood. Media Go grants you easy access to the latest podcasts with just two simple clicks.

Alexandre Cardon, Global Marketing Business Manager at Sony Ericsson, has opined, “With Media Go there is no need to worry about format, resolution and ‘frame per second’ anymore. No longer will the video you transferred from your PC to your phone play in low resolution or bad quality. With Media Go and the W995 the experience is as good on your phone as it was on your PC.”

The W995 Walkman Phone incorporates an 8.1 MP camera with up to 16x digital zoom, face detection, auto focus as well as photo flash. You can even watch the videos from YouTube by utilizing the integrated Turbo 3G or Wi-Fi. This smart device also includes a Walk Mate function so you can keep your calories under control. The Walkman player features crystal clear sound quality. This device offers a fun way to browse through your music playlists with the Shake Control application. The W995 boasts up to 118MB of internal memory. This video mobile phone offers a bright clear 2.6” display with 240 x 320 resolution.

The Sony Ericsson W995 Walkman Phone will be available from the second quarter of 2009. Pricing details are not as yet revealed.
