Pantech unveils an innovative mobile phone called the IM-S410 or IM-S410K. The company claims it to be the world’s first mobile phone to feature a wind recognition function.
The Pantech IM-S410 phone equips Nintendo DS like sensor that determines the amount of air or wind moving through it. The Wind recognition function can also recognize the sensitivity and wind dynamics which can be used later on internal applications. The feature also allows the users to blow an emoticon kiss during a video call. Users can also use the blowing feature to activate the camera, control the media player and play games.
Besides the integration of the new feature, the IM-S410 phone is just 11mm thin. The phone incorporates functions like DMB digital radio, TV tuner for entertainment and a GPS sensor. It also wraps in features like electronic dictionary and e-wallet.
The Pantech IM-S410 phone should be available soon in red, black and white colors. There is no information on its price as yet.
