Google Docs spreadsheet releases an updated version with editing function

Google Docs software Here’s some good news for mobile phone users, Google has released an updated version of Google Docs spreadsheet. The updated version will allow users to edit the spreadsheets on their mobile phones.

The current version allows users to simply view the documents but now with the updated version users can also add and edit documents. The updated version of Google Docs will allow users to add new rows as well as edit the existing cells in the spreadsheet. Users may also sort the spreadsheet by columns and filter by terms.

The new Google Docs takes advantage of the capabilities of the mobile phone technology and includes an edit button on each row. To sort the columns in the spreadsheets, users can simply click on the box that pops up at each row.

The new version is updated with limited specifications; it does not allow users to perform any mathematical formulas. Users will not be able to view any changes made to the numbers on the spreadsheets. The updated version caters to satisfy a user’s need to edit and add only simple text.

The updated Google Docs version is available now. It supports mobile phones based on Symbian S60 platform or Android and the iPhone. To take advantage of this new application log in to m.google.com/docs on your mobile phones.
