One of the most popular apps out there, Snapchat was blessed with a new Discover feature back in January this year, and its developers have now enhanced this addition by giving users the ability to share its content with others. This effectively means that users of the iOS and Android versions of the app will now be able to send Discover photos and videos to their friends.

Until recently, Snapchat used to be just a photo and video messaging app meant to be fun. But it took a completely new direction by introducing the new Discover functionality which allows news content from popular worldwide sources to be accessible to its users.

Photos and videos acquainting you about the various happenings in the field of sports, politics, entertainment and more are curated in this section of the application. Until now however, all this content was something you could just watch yourself.

But as TechCrunch has pointed out, new updates have been issued to both the Android and iOS versions of the app, which allow users to share Discover stories to their friends. All they need to do is press and hold on a particular story in order to get the option to send it across to their peers.

The stories that you receive will themselves come with Discover buttons to make it easier for you to forward them. The new versions of Snapchat’s Android and iOS apps also come with the ability to zoom into videos while you are recording them.

Both the newly released editions of Snapchat are now available for download through the Google Play store and the Apple App Store.
