A new adventurous game by Skyworks called Slyde the Frog was recently disclosed for the iPhone. The game is named after its main protagonist who is a frog called Slyde. This is no ordinary frog as it possesses gymnastic skills akin to a gymnast and wears a robust crash helmet.
The aim of this game is to get Slyde onto lily pads in the pond so that he can feast on flies. But its meal won’t come easy as Slyde has to dodge spikes and Venus fly traps. Gamers have to slide their fingers on the screen and give a push to Slyde, on the strength of which it will back flip in the direction of its prey.
But players have to be careful while pushing Slyde, for a weak push may throw it into the water. While with a hard push, Slyde will fly past the bucket and crash into a wall.
Though the game is packed with forty five levels, additional level packs are also available. Through Facebook connectivity and global score boards, players can compare their scores with their friends and try to beat them. Special bonuses can be earned by making Slyde bounce off walls and land on the frog princess’ lilypad.
