Seidio Samsung Galaxy S3 cases which form part of the company’s signature series are now available, the premium mobile accessory maker has revealed. The Active and Surface cases, as they are called, allow users to apply a touch of style as they see fit and even fine tune the level of protection they need.
The Seidio Surface, the thinnest one in the line-up, has a few nice features included. It can boast of precision cutouts for all the Galaxy S3’s ports, speakers, camera and other controls. In addition, the camera is raised slightly to guard the lens against scratches.

The second case, the Active, offers even greater protection while maintaining a stylish design. Two interlocking layers make up this housing, which although provide better resistance to shock, contribute just 2.2 additional millimeters to its overall thickness. The Active’s inner casing is derived from an impact-absorbing polymer while the exo-skeletal layer provides extra protection.
In addition, those who purchase the Seidio Active will have the choice of a metal kickstand, which enables users to view multimedia files with little hassle. Each of these new cases comes with a specifically-designed holster which is itself lined with felt to minimize scratches.
Meanwhile, the company is also developing a new product for the Galaxy S3 called the Convert combo, which will allow users to pile on additional layers to a Surface case. This would prove useful when it comes to more rugged use. Expect to see the Convert combo within the next few weeks.
The Seidio Samsung Galaxy S3 cases price details have been revealed. The Active combo without the kickstand and Surface combo retail for $49.95, while the Active combo with the kickstand should set buyers back $54.95. Those who decide they need one for their S3 will have a choice of colors including black, glossed white, garnet red, amethyst, and royal blue.
