As per NDTV (via IANS), the President of the Synergia Foundation, Tobby Simon, thinks that cyber security is still being seen as something that affects only data breaches. He hopes the conference will address this issue and spread awareness on the kinds of threats affecting governments and industries today. He believes the landscape is changing every 6 months due to constant changes in the world of information technology.

Simon went on to state that cyber security has become a strategic issue which all countries should take a serious look into. Cyber 360 will discuss topics such as smart cities, the dark web and crypto currency. Hybrid warfare will also be debated, focusing on how technology has changed the rules of war by using non-military means to gain political goals.

It encompasses economic warfare, the armed forces, cyber-attacks, information warfare and propaganda. The conversation aims to shed light on the concept, along with suggesting solutions for hybrid defense. Simon gave the example of a hacking incident that took place in March 2015, where the personal data of the chief of army staff in India and 50000 other officers was stolen.
