Samsung smartphone users will soon be able to get their hands on a free Reliance Jio SIM card under a new Preview Offer scheme. It’s a major step forward for the latter, given the fact that it’s only been supplying its SIM cards to its employees and buyers of its Lyf series of handsets.
According to TechPP, the new Reliance Jio Preview Offer allows users of certain Samsung phones 3 months worth of free unlimited HD Voice & Video calling, SMS messages, and data. They’ll also be getting access to a bunch of Jio apps like JioPlay, JioOnDemand, JioBeats and JioMoney.
Notably, the deal can be taken up by both existing and new Samsung owners. Devices which are reportedly allowed to take advantage of the scheme include the Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge, Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy S6 Edge+, Galaxy A5, Galaxy A5 (2016), Galaxy A7, Galaxy A7 (2016), Galaxy A8, Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy Note 5 Duos, Galaxy Note Edge, and Galaxy Note 4.

To get started on the Reliance Jio Preview Offer, Samsung consumers have to download the MyJio app and tap on the Get Jio SIM option. This action will trigger a coupon with a barcode. They’ll then have to decide which proof of address and identity they want to put forward as verification documents.
Once this step is dealt with, the Samsung user will have to take a trip to their nearest Reliance Digital store and submit the aforementioned documents in exchange for their free SIM card. After that, it’s a matter of tele-verifying the number by calling 1977 and then opening the MyJio app again to utilize the Jio Preview offer.
