Samsung Omnia Pro to arrive this summer?

Samsung Logo After the success of the Samsung Omnia, it now seems that the company is planning to expand its Omnia line-up. According to Engadget, Samsung is rumored to launch a new phone called the Samsung Omnia Pro with a sliding QWERTY keypad.

Apparently, this new phone will run on Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system (upgradeable to Windows Mobile 6.5 OS as soon as available). It is reported to sport a 3.5 inch AMOLED touchscreen display with 800 x 480 resolution. Moreover, it is said to feature a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, flash, image stabilizer and video recording capabilities.

The Samsung Omnia Pro is also rumored to include a 624 MHz processor. Supposedly, like Samsung Omnia this new phone should also pack in some enthralling features that would cater to the needs of users.

The company has not revealed any information regarding its specifications as yet. It is expected to launch in July 2009 and will retail at $662.
