Samsung unleashed a new mobile phone called the Samsung W7100. Equipped with a 100dB alarm, the phone is specially aimed at women and children for their security.
The Samsung W7100 phone helps children and women to call for help during emergency situations. The phone has the ability to emit an emergency sound as loud as 100dB. In addition to this, the phone will send a help message to local authorities as well as call people for help. The 100dB alarm sound is equivalent to the earbuds of a MP3 player set at full volume.
If you are lost in dark, the Samsung W7100 phone has a solution for that too. It will emit a bright flash light and help you to find your way out. This phone seems to be quite helpful during emergency situations like terror attacks.
Users are offered a choice of 36 user selectable patterns like cats, hearts, whales and various other patterns including the ones created by users. Samsung might just be preparing to prey upon your fears.
The Samsung W7100 phone will be available from March 13, 2009 in Korea. The pricing details of the phone are still under wraps.
