Update: Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy Unpacked event will take place on August 10.
Original: If a new leak is to be believed then the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and the Galax Z Flip 4 are all set to be unveiled by the South Korean giant on August 10. It’s being said that a Samsung Unpacked event is scheduled for the said date but nothing official on the matter has come out so far.
This latest bit of information comes from Evan Blass who has tweeted an apparent promotional image of the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event. The photo also seems to feature a blurred render of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 smartphone.
Additionally, Blass seems to be teasing something as he has accompanied his tweet with the text “This image has been edited to obfuscate certain detail.” In another tweet, the tipster has added that the event will be named “Unfold Your World” this time around.
The two new smartphones will succeed last year’s models that were very well received worldwide. A recent report said that the Galaxy Z Fold 4 will ship with a similar camera module to that of its predecessor. This was contradictory to earlier reports which had claimed that a new design will be espoused by the camera housing.
The Galaxy Watch 5 range could also make its debut at the Samsung Unpacked event. A recent leak had given us a comprehensive look at the two different models of this product.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro will apparently act as a successor to the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic. This premium model could ship with black and gray titanium color options. As for the base model, it may be offered in two sizes and multiple color options.
