Adding to their expanding tablet portfolio, Best Buy has revealed the availability of the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus at its stores. This tablet boasts of a 7-inch 1024 x 600 WSVGA PLS touchscreen and is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor.
Running on Android 3.2 Honeycomb, this device is preinstalled with numerous Google applications such as YouTube, Google Latitude, Google Maps, Google Calendar, Google Places, Gmail, Google Maps Navigation and Google Talk. The 345g tablet is integrated with the TouchWiz UX interface and provides for fast and smooth web browsing by lending support to Adobe Flash Player.
The Galaxy Tab 7.0 features a 2MP front and a 3MP rear facing camera with autofocus and LED flash that enables users to record HD videos in 720p. It possesses the new compatibility zoom mode which optimizes applications built for smaller screens and makes them fit on the entire screen sans any sort of distortion.
Measuring 193.65mm x 122.37mm x 9.96mm, the Samsung tablet offers support to various connectivity options including Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, HSPA +21 900, Edge, Wi-Fi Direct, USB 2.0 and Bluetooth v3.0. It operates on a built-in 4,000mAh battery and features 1GB RAM along with 16GB internal memory that can be expanded up to 32GB via the microSD card slot.
