Nokia Suite arrives with 3.2 update

Nokia Suite

Nokia has rechristened the Nokia Ovi Suite by giving it the new name of Nokia Suite and also upgraded the app with version 3.2. It seems that Nokia is on a renaming spree as just recently it has changed the name of the Ovi Store to the Nokia Store.

The software, which synchronizes users PC with their Nokia phone, now sports a new interface in its updated version. Through this update the company had fixed some bugs and altered certain features for the better.

The app has upgraded from its beta version and features the Support view user interface. This new interface provides users with data and aids them in using the software on the phone. They can seek information regarding their respective Nokia handset and its storage capacity. To open the Support view users have to click the ‘Support’ option on the top navigation bar.

This 3.2 update has basically improved the look and reliability of the app as well as made it easier to use. It is now capable of syncing Symbian phone’s contacts and calendar with various desktop software applications such as the native Windows apps and different versions of Outlook.

The sync log has also been enhanced and streamlined in the refreshed version to keep a systematic track of all the changes that occur during a particular sync. For installing apps through Nokia Suite users have to double click on its installation file and then follow the instructions. They also have another option of installation by dragging the app to the phone icon at the bottom of the screen.

Those already using the latest Beta Labs version don’t need to update the Nokia Suite app. Others can download the updated 3.2 version from the official Nokia website.
