Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 SM-T520 octa-core tablet to feature KitKat 4.4.2?

The Samsung SM-T520 10.1-inch tablet has been leaked on the web and the grapevine is abuzz with rumors suggesting that it could be the next iteration in the Galaxy Tab series. We have heard no confirmation about the device as yet, but we may not have to wait for long as CES is just around the corner.

Quite a few of the key specifications of the device surfaced through an AnTuTu article, which were spotted by the guys over at G4Games. And if these speculations turn out to be true, the device will be a truly high-end piece of hardware. Apparently, the Exynos 5420 processor fuels the gadget from within and if a report doing the rounds on the web is to be believed, it will become a true octa core chip with a software update to be released in the future.

SM-T520 Specifications

Another one of the key highlights of the device is the Android KitKat 4.4.2 OS which will definitely bring some advanced features as well as an intuitive interface. And like most other Samsung gadgets, you can expect it to be tweaked with TouchWiz UI. There will be 2GB of RAM for smooth navigation and 32GB of internal memory for hoarding digital content, probably with an option to increase it further using a microSD card.

And as far as the screen is concerned, it is said to be capable of rendering high resolution visuals in 2560 x 1600 pixels. An 8MP camera will grace the rear panel, whereas a 2MP snapper can be expected to be present for ensuring video conferencing over the web.
