Micromax Canvas A350 specs leaked, aims at Intex Aqua Octa and Zopo ZP998

After quad-core processors, octa-core chip technology like the one in the upcoming Micromax Canvas A350 and previously launched Zopo ZP998 is clearly the next big thing to happen to the handset market. As the specs of the leaked Micromax offering imply, it will also be competing against the Intex Aqua Octa.

The unconfirmed specifications of the Canvas A350 span over a 5-inch touchscreen delivering full HD resolution. Stuck above it is a 5MP camera. Micromax does one better than the aforesaid Intex and Zoppo smartphones on the main camera detail – it’s rumored to be a 16MP snapper.

MediaTek’s 1.7GHz octa-core chipset is likely to power the device along with 2GB of RAM and a 3000mAh battery. The company may have brought onboard Android 4.2 and a customized user interface here. You can also cross your fingers for dual SIM slots in keeping with the current trend, though Techmobileguru doesn’t mention this.

Lastly, 16GB of memory is present internally and you can crank it up to 32GB via the supplied microSD card slot. It’s a pity there’s no sneaky photo of the phone to prove its existence.

– Android Jelly Bean 4.2

Micromax Canvas A350 Specifications

The smartphone is said to cost between Rs 19,000 and Rs 20,000 and a mid-January release is apparently on the cards. This Micromax handset is expected to be clubbed with an unexplained Tie Up-515 Offer from Docomo. Seems to echo the Canvas Blaze deal the company had with MTS.
