The Samsung Galaxy Spica, also known as the Galaxy Lite i5700 has been in news for quite some time. The handset is finally made official in Russia.
According to UnwiredView, the Android powered mobile phone will be rolled out in several other countries in a short while. The Samsung Galaxy Spica is driven by an 800MHz CPU. The mobile phone boasts of a 3.2-inch touchscreen display and a 3.2 megapixel camera.
The Samsung handset is inclusive of a 1500mAh battery GPS sensor, compass and more. The Galaxy Spica is also capable of playing unconverted popular video files. The device incorporates 100MB of internal memory and also a microSDHC card slot that supports up to 32GB. Seemingly, the i5700 supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and HSDPA connectivity.
Apparently, the Samsung mobile phone packages 3.5mm audio jack along with MP3 and MPEG4 player. It may offer access to Chrome Lite browser, Google Apps and the Android Market. Like other touchscreen handsets from Samsung, even the Spica will be inclusive of the TouchWiz user interface.
Reportedly, the Samsung Galaxy Spica would ship in Russia in November for 14,000 rubles.
