Earlier for their Belgium users, Samsung had launched the Hello Kitty mobile phone edition. Now, the company is all set to bring these dainty devices to France. According to IntoMobile, these handsets are special editions of the S5230 and E2210 models.
Handsets with the Hello Kitty theme are quite popular, previously Sony Ericsson had unveiled one of its devices with the same concept. Apparently, the Samsung S5230 is known as the Samsung Player One in France and hence the special edition model will be called as Samsung Player One Hello Kitty.
Personifying the theme to the fullest, these Samsung handsets are all-pink in color and feature a Hello Kitty logo along with a Hello Kitty face on the back case. Reportedly, the S5230 measures 105mm x 53mm x 12 mm and weighs only 85 grams. It is equipped with a 1000mAh battery and 3.2 megapixel camera. The Samsung handset packs a 3-inch 240 x 400 resolution screen and supports Bluetooth 2.1.
The E2210 Hello Kitty incorporates a 128 x 160 resolution display and a VGA camera. The dimensions of the clamshell are 94mm x 46.5mm x 18.5mm and it weighs about 88 grams.
The special edition S5230 is retailed for $328, while the E2210 carries a reasonable price tag of $133.
