Folks in Canada waiting to get their first look at the Samsung Galaxy S III finally have the smartphone’s release date and availability details. From June 20, the handset will be up for grabs from wireless Canadian network operators and licensed national sellers.

The carriers shipping the SGH-i747 variant include Rogers, Virgin Mobile, Telus, Bell Mobility and SaskTel. Alternately, the SGH-iT999 model will be sold by Wind, Videotron and Mobilicity. Price and date plans will vary as per the service provider and retailer. For refresher’s sake, the Samsung Galaxy S III features a 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display proffering images in 1280 × 720 resolutions. It is available in memory choices of 16GB and 32GB, with claims of the 64GB piece being in the pipeline.

There’s a front-facing snapper for video conferencing as well. Coming to its software angle, it carries a host of interactive features like S Voice, Smart Alert, Smart Stay and so on. The phone’s appeal lies in the fact that its external surface has been crafted to replicate the effects of nature.

The Samsung Galaxy S III release date for Canada is marked at June 20. It is expected to be made available via select wireless carriers and authorized sales channels in the country.
