After showing up in Asia, the Nokia Lumia 610 is now available in the UK. Built around a sleek profile, the handset can be picked up in color choices of magenta, white, cyan and black.
Coming as good news to Lumia fans, the device in question will ship with the sought-after Wi-Fi hotspot and flip-to-silence features. It is now shipping with data plans starting at £15 a month via carriers like Virgin Mobile, T-Mobile, Orange, Vodafone, O2 and retailers like Phones 4u and Carphone Warehouse.
“The 610 brings the fast and sleek Nokia Lumia experience to lower priced areas of the market. Pre-loaded with Nokia Mix Radio, our free music streaming service and Nokia Drive, our global turn-by-turn navigation app, makes the Nokia Lumia 610 ideal for those looking for their first smartphone,” commented Conor Pierce, vice president Western Europe, Nokia.
The device carries the signature look of its series, with a 3.7-inch LCD display fitted on the front panel. It features 256MB RAM and 8GB of user memory with no slot provided for a microSD card. Besides, there is SkyDrive for hoarding and sharing various content. It offers video and music streaming for 7 hours and 35 hours, respectively. Operating on the Windows Phone platform, its claim to fame is that it’s the most affordable handset in the series.
