The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition that was announced for India at the launch event of the Galaxy Note 3, has arrived as promised. And those who are considering buying the gadget should note that they will have to part with a princely sum of half a lakh rupees to lay their hands on it.

So what can you expect from this huge tablet that is accompanied by a stylus like all other devices in the series? First of all, as the name suggests, a 10.1-inch multi-touch WQXGA Super clear LCD display that dominates the front side of the slate and is capable of rendering visuals in 2560 x 1600p resolution.

When it comes to the internal working, you can expect the tablet to support multiple applications at the same time as it boasts of an octa core processor. This 1.9GHz quad + 1.3GHz quad chipset is accompanied by 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard memory. An expansion slot has been provided to increase it further by up to 64GB using a microSD card.

An 8MP camera lays claim over the rear panel and tags along features like LED flash, auto focus, digital zoom and the ability to record decent-quality videos. A full HD 2MP webcam has also been thrown into the mix. You can pick it up in shades like jet black or classic white.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition Wi-Fi + 3G will be available in India soon for a price of Rs 49,990. Also, the company has reduced the price of the Galaxy Note 3 and it is now available for Rs 47,990 through the official eStore.
