Huawei gives in and launches Ascend P6 in India officially

The Huawei Ascend P6’s entry into the Indian market has been given an official nod by the company after the device was spotted hanging around at online retailers and waiting to be introduced formally.

The bad news is that all those who were eying it will have to pay a little more than they expected for it. Previously, the device was seen at Infibeam, Saholic and Flipkart at a price marked below Rs 26,000. The company has actually tacked a tag reading Rs 29,999 to it.

With regards to the price, we’ve been seeing this trend with online retailers over time. Before a phone or tablet gets an official launch in the country, the price quoted for it is usually less than the MRP noted by the manufacturer.

But what do you think about it? Is the Huawei Ascend P6 worth Rs 30,000?
