There has been a lot of hype surrounding the iPhone 4 handset over the past few months. Mobile aficionados who waited patiently to get their hands on the Apple iPhone 4 are now enjoying all the features and the handset since the product released across the U.S. last month. There is however some distressing news to other users who saved their money in order to acquire the iPhone 4 dressed in a lighter hue. According to a statement issued by Apple, the white iPhone 4 will only be available later this year.

Still out of their reach, mobile enthusiasts who hoped to enjoy the lighter hued handset will now have to wait in high anticipation just a little while longer. The delay as Apple puts it is due to the ongoing manufacturing problems it’s facing with the white colored iPhone 4. This isn’t the first time the company has delayed the this particular iPhone 4 model. Late June saw Apple bursting the user’s bubble by revealing that the light hued handset would only unfurl onto the scene by the second half of this month. As we now traverse through the allotted time-frame, we see the Apple offering being put on hold yet again.

The iPhone 4 is the latest offering in its acclaimed line-up of iPhone models from Apple. The company packs in loads of new enticing features which were not previously present in the other counterparts. These include two cameras, FaceTime and more. Other attributes include a 512MB RAM and runs on the Apple A4 processor. Loads of content can be stored as the iPhone can be acquired in storage capacities of 16GB and 32GB.

The company has also stated that the sales and availability of the popular iPhone 4 drenched in a black hue will not be affected by its counterpart’s delay. Eager users however are still in the dark about the exact release date of the handset as of now.
