Quick Office for Android platform

Quick office releases its first Microsoft office viewer for the Android platform. It is the only Android application that will allow users to view Microsoft files on their mobile phones.

The Quick Office product will allow users to manage and view Microsoft Word and Excel files stored in the memory card or from Gmail attachments. The feature is quite simple in use and will offer a rich experience to users viewing Microsoft documents on their Android handsets.

With Quick Office, users can easily zoom in and out as well as smoothly scroll the documents. It automatically adjusts the documents based on the sensor. The Word viewer feature will eliminate the left-right scrolls and display the documents as it is with all formatting, images, tables, bullets and numbered lists. Additionally, the web sites, web address and telephone numbers are hyper-linked that will allow users to directly visit a web site, send email or call.

The Excel Viewer feature will display spreadsheets in familiar Excel UI format. It will automatically resize column and rows to fit on the phone’s screen. It will also display content of each cell with number and cell formatting feature.

Users can easily manage their files with the easy to use file manager feature. It enables a user to rename, delete and view file properties. Users can also sort files by names, size, type and date modified.

The Quick Office for Android is available in Android Market for just $7.99.
