Sony Ericsson introduces four new panels for the Xperia X1 phone

Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 phone The successful Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 mobile phone gets four new panels namely the CNN panel, Skype panel, Mytopia panel and ‘On the Road’ panel. Since the phone got launched, approximately 420, 000 panels have been downloaded around the world.

The CNN panel will update the Sony Ericsson’s Xperia X1 users with latest news on sports and weather. Users can get the latest updates from anywhere and personalize their experience. It also includes various CNN content and provides access to CNN’s popular citizen journalism tool, i-Report.

The Skype panel will keep you connected with friends and family. With just few clicks, users can easily browse through contacts and call or send instant messages to friends. Using the evening, daylight or event based effects, users can modify their handsets accordingly.

With the Mytopia panel, Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 users will never get bored as it enables them to play bingo and poker games with people around the world. Users can also challenge other players around the world and collect virtual coins and improve their gaming skills by winning live matches.

On the Road panel is specially designed for people who are always on the move. This panel incorporates large touch icons with a simple layout. This panel will allow users to directly access navigation tools music playlists and tracks.

These panels will be available for download from mid March 2009. The Pricing details of it are not yet known.
