Like several other interesting gadgets we’ve bumped into lately, the newly announced collection of Qmadix Ecoustic biodegradable charging-data sync cables also made their presence felt at the recently concluded 2012 Macworld Show which was held in San Francisco last week. These wires come incorporated with biodegradable components and are said to be ideal for today’s eco-conscious world.

The freshly revealed range of mobile device peripherals include a USB to micro USB cable, an HDMI to micro HDMI cable and an auxiliary audio cable. Besides these, the collection also boasts of a dock cable featuring a 30-pin connector for employing with the iPhone and the iPad. These components apparently offer complete support for functions like charging and syncing whilst minimizing the environmental impact considerably.

“In partnering with Samsin USA, we bring a full line of eco-friendly cables under the Ecoustic Trademark. This allows us to give consumers a high-quality product without increasing the ecological footprint,” commented David Khalepari, CEO of Qmadix.

In an effort to make its products completely biodegradable, the Los Angeles-based Qmadix has developed eco-friendly, recycled packaging for shipping these cables. The latest offerings further claim to offer high durability, ruggedness and reliability. They have been built with a resin mixture that is made from biodegradable, plant-based by-products and various other natural properties.

The Qmadix Ecoustic biodegradable charging-data sync cables price details are not clear. They are now available at authorized retail stores across the U.S.
