Phicomm unleashes Passion 660 in India for Rs 10999

Phicomm has launched the Passion 660 smartphone priced at Rs 10999, making it the first time ever that the Chinese company has unveiled a product in India. This news doesn’t come as a surprise since it did announce its intention to enter the fray along with Xiaomi only last month. For those who missed out on what the Phicomm Passion 660 has to offer in terms of specifications, here we go.

A 64-bit octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chipset with support for 4G LTE powers the Phicomm Passion 660. A lot of budget-friendly phones have been landing with 4G capability lately. But they won’t have any great advantage over 3G in most places across India since the next generation network is not yet widely available. In spite of this, shipments of 4G handsets in the country hit 2134000 units during the first quarter of 2015.
