The newly unveiled Intex Aqua 3G Pro and Aqua 3G Strong are quite good looking for their price tags which read below Rs 4000. The former can be grabbed for Rs 3666, while the latter costs Rs 3333. Intex has launched these two for the low-end smartphone market in India, but has taken the trouble to make sure they’re easy on the eyes in spite of this.
Each handset shows off a brushed metal texture and comes in three color choices of champagne gold, black and silver. For added durability, Intex has the screens of the Aqua 3G Pro and Aqua 3G Strong protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. There are very few differences between the two phones. Both carry two SIM card slots inside and 4-inch displays of 800 x 480p resolution.
They support 3G networks as well as the other standard connectivity options you’d expect of them such as 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. The Intex Aqua 3G Strong lands with 256MB RAM and 512MB internal memory. On the other hand, the Aqua 3G Pro has 512MB RAM and 4GB ROM. Each device is powered by a 1400mAh battery and gets its kicks from a 1GHz Spreadtrum SC7715 chipset that arrives with a Mali 400 GPU.

If you were hoping for Lollipop, too bad. These Intex handsets run on Android KitKat v4.4 instead. A 2MP main camera accompanied by an LED flash unit is perched on the back panel, while a lens of VGA resolution sits above the touchscreen. Both appear to be pretty decent options for anyone wishing to migrate from a feature phone or just looking out for a backup device.
