South Korean company Pantech recently launched its latest slider known as the Pantech doublEye IM-U490S. The handset would be released under the banner of Sky, reports Techfresh.
One of the outstanding features of the handset is its Picture-in-Picture feature which facilitates users to capture photos and record videos at the same time. The slider features a 2.6-inch QVGA display. The doublEye IM-U490S brings animated Flash menu and widgets support that seems to make the handset more exciting.
The Pantech mobile phone provides HSPDA connectivity that offers data transfer rate of about 7.2Mbps. The handset does not compromise on entertainment and provides an integrated DMB-TV tuner and a music player. It incorporates a 3 megapixels camera, however the camera functionalities are not yet known. The slider comes with 130MB of internal memory and supports a microSD card slot.
Reportedly, the Pantech doublEye IM-U490S is now available in South Korea through SK Telecom for approximately $328. Unfortunately, the handset might not be retailed outside Korea.
