LG has unveiled quite a number of handsets this year, and now it plans to introduce a budget handset with its new entry-level candybar known as the GB109. According to Techfresh, the handset is designed to meet the needs of consumers looking for affordable handsets.
As expected from the entry level handsets, this candybar model does not pack in a great deal of features. Reportedly, the GB109 features a 1.5-inch CSTN display with 65K colors. Users can enjoy music with the stereo FM radio. It also comes with an organizer and a 950 mAh battery.
The LG handset offers a talktime of up to 6 hours that is appreciable for an entry level mobile phone. The handset offers a standby time of up to 440 hours. Apparently, the GB109 also incorporates some quick-access keys for FM radio and messaging. The entry level camera does not apparently feature a camera, even of a lower resolution.
Reportedly, the LGGB109 would be available in Ukraine from this month for around $148.
