Nokia reveals its latest additions to the mobile phone gallery called the Nokia 6710 Navigator and the Nokia 6720 classic. Both the mobile phones are packed with various interesting features and few easy to use functions.

The Nokia 6710 Navigator and the Nokia 6720 classic phone offers all the latest navigation functions that a user would expect from a GPS enabled device. The integration of Maps with Ovi will help users to plan out their journey as they can transfer and sync the maps to their mobile phones via a PC. The navigation maps have been loaded with various new features like 3D landmarks for over 200 cities, high resolution aerial images, terrain maps, premium travel, event control, weather services, traffic and safety warnings. Additionally, the mobile phones also provide an easy access to navigation functions via the dedicated navigator key where as the touch feature will allow users to zoom the images for an optimum view.

“The navigation solution provided by the Nokia 6710 Navigator is second to none and provides everything you would expect from a dedicated GPS device with all the benefits of a converged mobile device,” states Markku Suomi, vice president at Nokia. “We want to make the experience as simple and effective as possible, which means the navigation licenses are pre-installed and ready to use as soon as you turn on the Navigator,” he added further

In addition to the impressive navigation features, both the phones feature a 5 megapixel camera that comprises of functions like dual LED flash and Carl Zeiss optics. The Nokia 6710 and 6720 mobile phone comes with an improved design and its slightly curved shape makes it easier for users to hold the device.

The Nokia 6720 classic phone incorporates a new active noise cancellation feature that reduces the external ambient sounds and improves the quality of voice. Other features included in the phone are TV-out connection for sharing images and videos, high internet speed for uploading and downloading and a standby time of upto 20 days.

The Nokia 6710 navigator phone will be available in Q3 at an estimated price of 300 EUR. The Nokia 6720 classic phone is expected to ship in Q2 of 2009 and will be available at an expected price of 245 EUR before taxes and subsidies.
