The Fujitsu Stylistic S01 release date will fall during June this year and the phone will be launched through Orange. Aiming to keep the elderly population up to speed with the ever growing smartphone technology, the company has decided to introduce this latest phone first in France followed by the rest of Europe.
The Stylistic S01 will possess a 4-inch capacitive touchscreen that the maker asserts would allow users to get the feel of using a physical keypad. This feature was earlier seen in the company’s Raku-Raku smartphones. The manufacturer has also employed certain audio technologies that adjusts the frequency range according to the user’s age and even slows down the caller’s speech, making it easier for senior consumers to understand conversations.
Amongst these tailored specifications, there also exists a special button that can be pressed in times of emergency. Once it has been pushed, surrounding people are notified through an alarm and the phone automatically calls the user’s family. Services like Cineday and Et Moi that are exclusive to the carrier have also been contained within the smartphone. According to the manufacturer, the device has been specially designed to be both dust- and water-proof, making it operational almost everywhere.
Other attributes of the Android 4.0 handset include an 8.1MP rear camera and a 0.3MP front-facing lens. Pandering to the current requirements of memory, the maker has incorporated 4GB of storage and also provided a microSD slot for further expansion of up to 32GB. An 1800mAh battery would be providing power to the device between charges.
Users can attain connectivity through Bluetooth, Wi-Fi as well as HSDPA and can receive remote assistance from the company’s personnel. The device comes equipped with a 1.4GHz MSM8255 processor and 1GB of RAM.
The company has announced that the Fujitsu Stylistic S01 would start its journey in Europe from France with a release date slated for sometime in June 2013. Mobile enthusiasts can also check out the phone at the MWC expo starting February 25, 2013.
