Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 price in Europe estimations pinpoint to €349

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 price in Europe has once again been the subject of some buzz in town and this time the word spilled out speaks of the tablet slated to be made available starting from €349. Seemingly, this retail value is much less as compared to the one mentioned in our previous report.

Speaking of which, our post also mentioned that the Note 8.0 will be expected to launch in three separate variants. While Phone Arena reveals details concerning the Wi-Fi only and the 3G-enabled models, no information pertaining to the Wi-Fi + 3G + LTE unit has been specified. The post on the website vouches that this news has originated from a Bulgarian e-retailer known as Table.bg.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0

It seems like the GS4 is not the only much awaited device by the South Korean-based manufacturer. And if there is any reality to this rumor, the 8 inch tablet will be within the reach of potential buyers sometime during the month of March, which is also around the same time the company’s next flagship will be seeing the daylight.

Going by previous rumors, the 8-inch touchscreen display of the slate should be capable of reproducing visuals at a 1,280 x 800 pixel resolution. Supposedly optimized for the latest version of Android Jelly Bean, it will also conceal a 1.6GHz quad core processor within its form factor. There may be a 4,600mAh battery lying under the hood and powering the slab.

A 5MP camera could make its way into it, for catering to potential users’ needs for imaging and it will feature auto focus as well. At the same time, the front panel is said to carry a 1.3MP webcam packing fixed focus. It should go without saying that the slab will presumably carry an S Pen considering the series it belongs to.

The Wi-Fi only version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 will be clinging to the aforementioned retail value. The rate at which the 3G-enabled device could be up for purchase is apparently tagged at €449. Of course this bit of news is purely based on hearsay and we’re still awaiting the company’s confirmation.

Meanwhile, let’s quickly run through the expected specifications of the tablet:

– 8-inch touchscreen display
– 1,280 x 800 pixel resolution
– Android 4.2 Jelly Bean
– 5MP main camera with auto focus and 1.3MP front-facing webcam
– 1.6GHz quad core processor
