Oppo Neo 7 with 5-inch display and Snapdragon chip unveiled

The Oppo Neo 7 has been spotted on the brand’s international website without any price or availability details. The handset is likely to release in India as the page lists a country-specific version of the handset which supports local LTE bands.

The dual-SIM Oppo Neo 7 looks to be an affordable offering by the company. It’s been outfitted with a glass back and a 5-inch TFT qHD (540 x 960p) screen. Under the hood, the smartphone is fueled by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 MSM8916 processor, working in tandem with an Adreno 306 GPU.

The Neo 7 houses an 8MP rear camera with an aperture of f/2.0 and LED flash. The phone has been equipped with an UltraHD feature which shoots 6 photos in a row in order to stitch together a single 24MP image. The 5MP front snapper makes use of screen flash to brighten selfies. It utilizes a light-sensitive sensor to adjust display brightness according to the environment.

In terms of memory, the Oppo device packs 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. Users can add up to 128GB of extra space via a microSD card slot.
