Opera Software, the company that can put Web on any device has announced that Tata Teleservices will be providing Opera Mini on its upcoming BREW-enabled handsets.
This is the first time that the Tata Teleservices Ltd is delivering Opera Mini through its BREW-enabled handsets to make its mark in the Indian markets. Tata Teleservices has allowed its users to access Internet even in local languages like Hindi.
Gartner has conducted research studies and confirmed that India’s mobile market is growing rapidly.
Opera Mini, the popular mobile Web browser, will allow its users to access to full Web, enabling them to surf their favorite websites, enjoy mobile blogging and social networking-even when traveling.
Opera Mini is also going to support local language websites such as BBC Hindi, Dainik Bhaskar and others. Opera Mini also includes bookmarks, secure access to email and online banking.
