Obi Worldphone SF1 now selling via Snapdeal starting at Rs 9999

The Obi Worldphone SF1 has made the shift to Snapdeal, a couple of months after it was launched last year. The move will probably help the handset reach a wider audience and drive up sales.

To recap, the Obi Worldphone SF1 was initially only available via Gadgets360 and later began vending via Amazon India as well. The phone is currently listed at Rs 11999 for the 2GB/16GB version and Rs 13999 for the 3GB/32GB one on the two sites. However, Snapdeal is selling the former at Rs 9999 and the latter at Rs 11999, a significant drop in value.

The Worldphone SF1 offers a distinctive design, featuring a floating glass display combined with metallic accents and a unibody style. One of the biggest highlights of the handset is its 13MP autofcous rear camera which has been fitted with a Sony Exmor IMX214 sensor, an aperture of f/2.0 and LED flash.

The snapper offers various features such as color-preserving flash and dynamic focus. The first allows the shooter to capture two images, one with flash and the other without. The device then combines the two in what should ideally be a well-balanced shot. The second lets users adjust the focus after the photo has been captured.
