AT&T Nokia Lumia 900 may launch on March 18

Unveiled last week at the CES 2012, the much awaited successor to the Lumia 710 and 800, the Nokia Lumia 900 is most likely to arrive in March via AT&T. WMPoweruser was the first to notice data regarding the launch month of this smartphone which was illustrated in the official Nokia Developer Newsletter.

When this Nokia handset had been introduced in Las Vegas last week, the company had only announced that its launch is expected to happen within the next few months. This newsletter however shows the release month to be March and more specifically, WMPoweruser has confirmed a March 18, 2012 launch date. Powered by the Windows Phone 7.5 Mango OS, it is scheduled to launch through AT&T in the U.S and will be operating on the company’s 4G LTE network.

This sleek mobile device comes equipped with a 4.3-inch 800 x 480p AMOLED ClearBlack display and is said to be capable of facilitating data downloads of up to 50Mbps. Running on a 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon APQ8055 + MDM9200 CPU, it would be available in black and cyan colors.

The Lumia smartphone boasts of a 1MP front facing snapper and an 8MP primary camera with Carl Zeiss optics, dual LED flash, 720p HD video capturing abilities and a f2.2/28mm aperture. It comes loaded with 16GB of internal memory and 512MB RAM. The integrated 1830mAh battery is capable of offering talk time and standby time of up to 7 hours and 300 hours, respectively.

Interested parties may have to wait only two months more for the Nokia Lumia 900 which will probably be out on March 18 via AT&T. However there’s no official confirmation on its actual release date and price as of now.
