Those who’ve been keeping their eyes skinned for what a certain Finnish company can do with Windows Phone 7 have the Lumia 710 and also the Nokia Lumia 800 to look towards. This phone will operate on v7.5 of this Microsoft operating system, which is better known as Mango.

On the exterior, the device is made up of a polycarbonate and glass body with subtle curves. The 3.7-inch toughened, curved glass touchscreen flaunts the title of being an AMOLED ClearBlack display. This Lumia handset can be grabbed in striking colors like cyan, magenta or black.

The third ecosystem is alive and well, due in part to Nokia’s partnership and commitment to delivering amazing new Windows Phones to consumers around the world,” expressed Andy Lees, president of the Windows Phone Division at Microsoft.

On the rear, the Nokia Lumia 800 sports an 8MP auto-focus camera with Carl Zeiss optics. It also shoots videos at the speed of 30 frames per second. Incorporated with a BV-5JW 3.7V 1450mAh battery, it offers talk time of up to 13 hours or standby time of approximately 335 hours. Accompanying the onboard memory of 16GB, 25GB of free SkyDrive storage with integrated cloud computing is also offered to users.

The body happens to integrate a 1.4GHz processor along with a graphics co-processor. Apart from quad band reception, this device is also HSDPA 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enabled. What’s more, the handset is incorporated with the Internet Explorer 9 browser as well as support for HTML5 web applications.

In select countries, the Nokia Lumia 800 can now be pre-ordered through the official company website. It will roll out across France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and the UK in November. Also, Hong Kong, India, Russia, Singapore and Taiwan are set to receive it in Q4 this year, while other markets will have it by 2012.
