The Nokia Drive 3.0 update is out for Windows Phone 7 Lumia users who aren’t too good with asking other people for directions. Claiming to offer much more that mere navigational guidance, it is compatible with the Lumia 610, Lumia 710, Lumia 800 and Lumia 900.

The navigation app comes with a range of abilities like turn-by-turn assistance while on the road, automatically tweaked display settings for various lighting conditions and the ability to pin destinations for easy access to them. With regards to the first feature, users can employ the Nokia Drive update to locate places and find new routes to get there. It can even be employed as a travel guide of sorts.

Just pinning a favorite destination is enough for convenient access to viewing directions. This feature incorporated within the updated application is said to have received the most number of requests.
