The Nokia Asha 305 and Asha 311 India launch has been announced, with the devices sporting price tags of Rs. 5,029 and Rs. 7,139, respectively. The company has teamed up with EA Games to deliver 40 free downloadable titles including Tetris, Bejeweled and FIFA 2012 for these touch-enabled devices.

A 3-inch WQVGA resistive display dominates the front panel of the Asha 305 handset. Users will be able to slip in two SIM cards from different service providers as it is dual SIM-enabled. Apart from Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, the device is pre-loaded with Nokia Maps and the company’s new web browser that’s said to reduce data costs. Snap-happy users can capture images with the help of the 2MP camera.

Viral Oza, Director Marketing, Nokia India, remarked, “The Nokia Asha family has received tremendous consumer response. With a variety of form factors across price points and innovations such as Nokia Browser, Nokia Maps and DRM free Nokia Music, Nokia Asha family has triggered data consumption habits in first time data users. With the launch of Nokia Asha Touch range, we are strengthening our range of ‘mobile internet’ devices that offer these exciting experiences to the consumers.”
