The music rhythm and dance game will now have mobile-to-mobile real-time multiplayer gaming facility and leaderboards. The latest version of the game powered with Neutron is going to be released by the end of 2008.

The technology is aimed at revolutionizing the way the game is played adding more fun. With the multi-player feature players can network around with their friends and ‘dance off’ them in real time right in their mobile devices. You can also display the numbers you scored by making your best moves in the solo performance with the leaderboards featured in the game.

“The Neutron gaming platform will enable Konami Mobile to create one of the first full-featured mobile multiplayer games,” said Jim Bradbury, Konami Mobile’s Executive Director. “Social gaming and community features are what consumers want, and with Neutron providing the back end technology, Konami Mobile will bring fans of the DDR series a version of the game that they can enjoy from almost anywhere.”

“Neutron continues to prove itself as an ideal solution for world-class developers and publishers,” said Tom Sperry, CEO of Exit Games. “The addition of DDR to the lineup of mobile games supporting multiplayer and social networking capabilities reaffirms our leadership position in a market where there is a premium on extending the consumer experience.”
